Costa Mesa based young gun shaper/surfer Tanner Prairie makes, among other classics, this transition era v-bottom midlength called the Dead Flower.
It's actually a minilog with a gentle rocker and vee bottom added, combining with a pulled in tail and thinned out nose so you get a supernice and manoeuverable mid you can throw around your beach break of choice. Or just set your line and with five toes on the nose trim it oldskool down the line onto the sand... Your call.
Features a superclassy light grey resin tint, classic thick one inch red cedar stringer and a shiny gold Tanner logo.
Disclaimer: oh yeah some unnamed shop guy managed to ding the nose on dry land, which has been patched professionally. This knocks a shiny €50 off the price and gives the board a +2 priority in the lineup for badass looks straight off the rack. What we call a win-win right?
Available for closer inspection in our Amsterdam shop-in-shop.
Also, here's a little Tanner vid to help you get your girl-/boyfriend/mama to allow your purchase of yet another board.
