Versatile, paddles well and can turn on a dime, the Panacea Egg lives up to its name: A surfboard design “cure all” that’s the perfect one board quiver—ready to handle most any type of conditions you’ll encounter at home or abroad. Because of its ample volume and neutral design characteristics, I recommend an 8’0” as an ideal starting point for this design. This Panacea is also what I commonly suggest when longboard surfers want to have their first go at a smaller board.

GLASSING SCHEDULE: 6 oz. + 6 oz. deck, 6 oz. bottom. all glosssssš

FINS: Tri,  glass-ons, 

ROCKER: Neutral, conservative entry and relaxed off the tail.

RAIL: Neutral rail with tucked edge into the tail.

BOTTOM CONTOURS: single concave transitioning into double concave around the fins then flatting out off the tail behind the fins.

TYPE OF WAVES: Average, all around conditions. Ideal in chest to slightly overhead height, and favors softer, open faced breaks.
