Description

'Ride home' is one of the water shots Hans took for the special Atlantique series he did during lockdown year 2020, on a journey through southwestern Europe.

So Hans van Wijk is a relatively new kid on the surf photography block, diving into analogue outdoor & water photography for a couple years now and giving us all some really intimate & involved looking stills. Moments we'd otherwise pass up as 'everyday' or 'regular', especially us esthetically spoiled surfer-types who are getting their brains crammed full of 4k full color pumped up HDR shots and reels daily.

Almost like in those famous war reporting and older journalism shots, with these real quiet looking, almost casual compositions Hans lets us focus on the core and structure of what's actually happening in this exact moment. Not on those milllion things going on at once. Just this one movement, set, frame or backdrop.

Available in two different paper types and three pretty allround sizes, these can be printed custom for you in Amsterdam and delivered to your home within a week or two.

Here's some more details!
